When a student indicates an allergy or asthma-an Action Plan is required for school/sport clearance
NO emailing forms...hard copy only
Athletes should check with their coaches regarding missing forms & clearance status
🤢 Little reminders regarding illness:
- Stay home when sick
- People who have symptoms of respiratory or gastrointestinal infections, such as cough, fever, sore throat, vomiting, or diarrhea, should stay home and talk to a healthcare provider for further guidance
- Students and staff should consult with their healthcare provider as it relates to a suspected communicable disease case and any associated exclusions
- If your child is suspected of having any communicable disease, contact your school nurse
- Our schools no longer contact trace or require close contacts of an exposure to quarantine regardless of vaccination status
- Temporary Covid related zoom link (remote learning) accommodations will no longer be offered
- In order for a student’s isolation period to be considered an excused absence, a note from your healthcare provider must be submitted to the attendance office that affirms the isolation period
- Students who participate in Extra-Curricular Activities Competition under Policy 2431 shall be required to present written evidence of being free of COVID-19 and eligible to participate in extra-curricular activities competition supplied by the school medical inspector or another qualified physician who has examined the student before the student is permitted to resume participation in any extra-curricular activities competition.
