Ramapo Students Attend AMUN XXIV -
Ramapo’s Model United Nations program participated in a two-day professional conference at Bergen Academies. In this simulation, students represented a variety of countries, aiming to pass resolutions that would promote world peace, global security, and the advancement of human rights. Students worked diligently before arriving to their first committee sessions, conducting professional research and drafting position papers to guide them through the conference. While on their committees, the students represented Ramapo well, demonstrating respect, pride, compassion, and grit while collaborating with hundreds of participants from other school districts in the tri-state area. Ramapo’s delegation included Simrin Anand, Gian Brar, Gabrielle Buchmann, Arielle Gomberg, Maverick Gomez, Andrew Glushanok, Ignacio Guerra, Alexander Jolakian, Victoria Jolakian, Arya Kaul, Chloe Maurice, Teddy Murray, Ashley Park, Saira Sandhu, Sarah Taouafe, Gabriella Vona, and Cynthia Zhou.
