Understanding the latest advances in artificial intelligence may seem daunting, but not for Eddie Deleu! Eddie did research this summer using deep learning to monitor pedestrian traffic in NYC. Deep learning goes beyond machine learning by structuring algorithms in layers to create an artificial neural network that can learn and make intelligent decisions on its own. Eddie published his research and MIT is intrigued. Eddie has been invited to present his paper at MIT in October at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Undergraduate Research Technology Conference.
