The Ramapo High School community has a new reason to celebrate! Erik Sloezen, Director of Bands, recently announced that student Natalie Woo has been accepted into the prestigious New Jersey All-State Symphonic Band.

This accomplishment comes as a result of Natalie’s high placement in the Region Band, which made her eligible to audition against top high school musicians from across North, Central, and South Jersey. Natalie distinguished herself in a highly competitive field, placing 9th out of 34 trombones in the entire state.

Supporters and music lovers will have two opportunities to see Natalie and the All-State Band in action next month:

February 21, 2026: Atlantic City Convention Center

February 22, 2026: NJPAC, Newark
