Throughout the month of March, the Student Assistance Counselors at Ramapo High School hosted a series of engaging, mindfulness-based activities in the cafeteria as part of “March Madness: Mindset is Your MVP.” These events provided students with hands-on opportunities to build coping skills, reduce stress, and strengthen a growth mindset.

Students created bracelets with positive affirmations, explored calming scents by identifying essential oils and making take-home sachets for grounding, and contributed to a Gratitude Tree by reflecting on what they are grateful for.

These activities encouraged student connection and participation and introduced practical tools and resources that students can use beyond the school day to support their emotional well-being and resilience.
