Congratulations to Coach Bill Manzo on his official induction into the NJSCA Hall of Fame! Coach Manzo joined the ranks of New Jersey's coaching legends at a ceremony held earlier this month.

In remarks made during that event, Manzo took the opportunity to reflect on the mentors, colleagues, and family members who supported his journey. We are proud to share Coach Manzo’s own words from the event, along with photos from the ceremony with you.
I am humbled to receive this honor from the NJSIAA and the NJSCA as it is a reflection not just of me but of the great coaches I have had in my life as well as of the support of my assistant coaches--many of whom I have had with me my entire career— of the buy-in (“trust the process”) of every era of the Ramapo track and field family, and of my wife Corrin and daughters Anna and Mary who have shared me for many years.
I am also extremely proud to represent Ramapo as the 15th coach to be inducted in our school’s 70 year history, joining coaches Chuck Swenson, Paul Heenehan, Sandy Gordon, Dave Van Hook, Drew Gibbs, Chris Cauda, John Cilio, Roger Cummings, Mike Miello, Kim Marchese, Evan Baumgarten, Joe DelBuono Sr, Leslie Stephen, and Mickey Hunt.
Special thanks to my own high school coaches—Jim Hintze and George Glover--who each played a large part in my coaching life (George was inducted last year) and to my assistant coaches Mike Nangle, Josh Resto, Tony Ciccone, and Bill DiMauro who are each invaluable to this program.
I have always felt that being a coach at Ramapo is a special position to hold, so I am happy to be able to share this honor on behalf of the school and the FLOW community.
