Students from Ramapo High School's APUS2 History class recently traveled to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial & Museum in Holmdel for a day of immersive learning.

During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to meet with veterans, whose first-hand accounts provided a powerful and personal layer to their studies.

By moving beyond the textbook, this experience directly supports the social studies curriculum, helping students develop a more profound and empathetic understanding of a defining era in American history.
