In March we celebrate International
Women's Day and this year, the Bergen County Commission on the Status of
Women along with the Junior Commission on the Status of
Women recognized eight
women who have contributed to improving the workplace and who have fought for economic equality for all
women,
working to enhance the social and economic fabric of our communities.
On March 28, 2019, the COSW and Jr. COSW selected Staci Anson, Ramapo
teacher and RIHEA president, as one of their Honorees. They also
honored two Ramapo students, Elizabeth Otero and Stephanie Goodrich for
their dedication to improving the status of women through their own
advocacy for women's rights and service on the Junior Commission.
