The New Horizons Program
The Ramapo New Horizons Program offers young adults, ages 18-21 with disabilities, a transition-to-adulthood program that includes community based instruction, life coaching, and a structured learning experience. The program provides Community Based Instruction in functional academics and life skills. The goal of this program is for students to develop the necessary independent living skills to live in supervised housing apartments in addition to ascertaining employment skills to prepare them for independently working in jobs without supervision.
